Devlog #12: Why even try with the current game?
I have written out 12 devlogs at this point, yet this game is still not fun or even that interesting. The only part of the game that's unique from most other survival games is limb farming, and it's slower and more boring than all of them. I'm realizing now that I cannot keep working on the same project I originally made back in mid-2021. I'll still finish Alpha 3.0, but after that, I will immediately start work on creating the game from scratch! I've been thinking about this since I released the first update and immediately found several new bugs, but the game has gotten too big and is not fun, so why do I even try with this game at this point?
I will put much more time into the beta before releasing it, and while I'm not working on the beta, I have still been thinking about how I want the farming and combat to be. There will also be fewer devlogs so I can focus on Home Grown, Pitch Black, and SHaD: R's development.
