I've officially gotten back to work on the game, and I have the next update almost ready to publish.
At the moment, I'm just updating a bunch of the graphics in the game, lines are gonna have a much more consistent resolution and everything will look a lot smoother. Also, I have a new option that doesn't do much right now, but does do something to a certain part of the title art ;)
The update won't bring very much other than updated graphics and bug fixes and a couple of additions to the gameplay, but I hope to bring a huge update out by November (as in before November, but also still likely in November).
I will see all you fellow gamers and developers then!
